Though we do still have to wait a while for the show’s return, we officially have a return date for season five, ya’ll. It was revealed during the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. panel at New York Comic Con that the Marvel show will be returning in the beginning of December and we would be getting the first two episodes of the season during the two-hour premiere.
Ming-Na Wen (the actress who plays Agent Melinda May) also revealed that fans can expect to see their faves go up against the Kree in the upcoming season. “We can actually mention that and how strong they are and how blue they are.” She stated. “That’s one element. And then we also have aliens.”
We’ve already received some details about season five (the fact that they will be in space probably being the biggest one) and we know that Jeff Ward will be joining the cast as well as that Clark Gregg will be putting on his directorial hat for at least one of the episodes.
