Although details surrounding the sequel to this summer’s smash hit, Wonder Woman are being kept under wraps, we do know that if Cheetah is part of the script, Golden Globe Award-winning actress, Sarah Paulson has expressed interest in taking on the role.

Cheetah is one of Diana Prince’s most well-known and formidable foes. The iteration of the character they could use in the film could vary, but my educated guess would be for the most current rendition of the character, archaeologist, Dr. Barbara Minerva would be the most likely candidate.

After a fan tweeted to both Sarah Paulson and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins that Paulson or Charlize Theron would be perfect for the role of Cheetah, Paulson was quick to give her approval. The talented actress replied back with the following tweet:

Yes please @PattyJenks 🙏🏻

With nearly 200 retweets and over 930 likes, it seems that many approve of this fancasting. Now, we will just have to wait and see if Cheetah will indeed be part of the upcoming sequel.

What do you think about the idea of Sarah Paulson portraying Cheetah? Be sure to let us know in the comment section below.

Wonder Woman 2 is set to be released on November 1, 2019.
