Just last week it was announced that Marvel would be working with The Weeknd to bring his alter ego Starboy to life in a new comic and now we’ve learned about another Marvel/Musician collaboration only this time the venture is into the fashion industry.
Run The Jewels is a hip-hop duo that had been formed in 2013 consisting of rapper/producer El-P and rapper Killer Mike. The group has been suggestively tweeting about an upcoming project with Marvel and most assumed that it would revolve around either The Punisher or Black Panther, especially after one of their songs (Legend Has It) was used in an earlier trailer for the film. Instead, the group announced the release of a clothing line with the super company, officially launched on Friday, October 13th. The tweet can be seen below.
