It looks like Yakko, Wakko and Dot will at it with their mischievous antics once again, as Steven Spielberg, Amblin Entertainment and Warner Bros. look to reboot the popular ’90s animated show.

According to IndieWire, the series has surged in popularity since being added to Netflix last year and Steven Spielberg who helped create the original show is set to be on board for the new rendition.

Currently, there is no official home for the remake as it’s in its early stages of development. But if the recent surge of rebooted shows are any indication, Animaniacs is sure to be popular.

The original series run was from 1993 to 1995, consisting of 99 episodes on Fox Kids before finding a new home on Kids’ WB from 1995 to 1998.  The series spawned the spin-off Pinky and the Brain which aired on WB.

During its run, Animaniacs received eight Daytime Emmy Awards and  Peabody Award.
