It was announced that the reboot for the 1994 cult classic, The Crow would be distributed by Sony Pictures with its original production team. But now, we have more news about the reboot.

According to Screen Geek, pre-production for the film will begin in February. At Los Angeles Comic Con, creator of The Crow, James O’Barr, confirmed the news and also revealed that British director, Corin Hardy was still attached to direct.

O’Barr told Screen Geek, “As of right now, it’s slated to start pre-production in February with a very talented British director named Corin Hardy. I’m involved in every aspect of the film and working closely with the director.”

In the past, Jason Momoa was attached to the project as the titular character, but O’Barr did not have any word on Momoa’s current status on the role.
