Now You See Me: Now You Don’t has taken its time to become a reality, but the highly-anticipated sequel just gave its fans something to talk about.
Lionsgate launched a viral campaign to celebrate the release of the first trailer for the film. The special livestream that was shared through social media concluded with the first look at the project. Fans who signed up for the livestream to mark the occasion were surprised to see that the company had sent them $119. That is correct, the studio sent viewers real money. The strategy will certainly bring attention to the release of the sequel.

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t will bring back the lovable team of illusionist that also work as criminals. Danny Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg) is the leader of the Four Horsemen. The group uses their entertainment shows as cover for the crimes they perform in real time, much to the charm of their audience. Merritt McKinney (Woody Harrelson), Jack Wilder (Dave Franco) and Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher) will also be back for more in Now You See Me: Now You Don’t. The Four Horsemen haven’t been seen on the big screen in almost decade, but the thieves are ready to make audiences feel as if they never went away.
Ruben Fleischer was the filmmaker selected by Lionsgate to tackle the action of Now You See Me: Now You Don’t. The director is known for his work on the Venom franchise. Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) needed someone capable of bringing his story to the big screen, and Fleischer was up for the challenge. The artist couldn’t work on the final installment of the Venom story due to his commitment to the Four Horsemen’s next adventure.
