Stop me if you’ve heard this one before: Zombie pirates are chasing Jack Sparrow across the sea seeking revenge. He enlists help from a naive, proper young man and an adventurous young woman.
While that sounds like the plot to Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, it turns out it also appears to be the plot for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

As the fifth film in the successful franchise, there is bound to be crossover amongst the movies. However, Dead Men Tell No Tales just seems too familiar.
In addition to the usual pirate ship action, Johnny Depp wanders around doing his Jack Sparrow schtick that somehow still delivers a few laughs. Also returning for this outing are Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally and possibly Orlando Bloom.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales sails into theaters May 26.
