Jenny Han’s best-selling novel follows Lara Jean Song Covey whose life becomes incredibly complicated when the letters she wrote about the 5 boys she love gets mysteriously mailed out. The film stars Lana Candor (X-Men: Apocalypse) as Lara, she is joined by Janel Parrish (Pretty Little Liars), Israel Broussard (Happy Death Day), Andrew Bachelor (The Babysitter), Anna Cathcart (The Descendants), and John Corbett. (My Big Fat Greek Wedding).

Susan Johnson helmed the adaptation, which was scripted by Sofia Alvarez. Matt Kaplan, Dougie Cash, and Jordan Levin produced. Han, Brett Bouttier, and Robyn Marshall executive produced.

Han revealed via Twitter that Netflix will release the film on August 17th.
