The world of gaming culture and workplace comedy collide once again in Mythic Quest Season 4, and Geeks of Color is thrilled to share an exclusive first look at a brand-new clip from the upcoming episode, “Second Skeleton”, premiering on Apple TV+ on February 19.

From the start, Mythic Quest has felt like more than just a comedy about gaming—it’s a series that truly gets what makes the industry tick. It’s hilarious, but it also explores the genuine experiences of creatives, developers, and the diverse voices that shape gaming today that many others can relate to.

The show balances sharp satire with genuine emotion, addressing the ups and downs of working in a video game studio. With Season 4, Mythic Quest continues to capture the chaotic energy and passion of game development while highlighting voices that often go unnoticed.

In this special preview of the new episode, we get a glimpse of the chaos and camaraderie that defines Mythic Quest in the clip titled, “Biggest Fan.”

We see Dana speak to a fan named Yara who was part of the Girls Can Code group that visited the gang during the first season of the show. Dana’s speech inspired Yara to go out and create her own game, showcasing the impact of representation and mentorship in the gaming industry.

At Geeks of Color, we celebrate stories that not only entertain but also champion diversity and representation within the geek community. Mythic Quest has done exactly that, both in front of and behind the camera.

From its portrayal of women in tech and gaming (Charlotte Nicdao’s Poppy Li remains one of the most dynamic leads on television) to its nuanced depiction of the struggles of Black and brown professionals in the industry (Imani Hakim’s Dana has had one of the best arcs on the show), Mythic Quest continues to reflect the real-world experiences of marginalized voices in gaming.
