Anakin Skywalker and Ashoka Tano seems to be returning to the animated world. The last time we saw master and Padawan was during a heatbreaking fight that ending mysteriously for Ashoka.

Today, Eckstein revealed on Twitter that the voices behind these charaters, Ashley Eckstein and Matt Lanter, are back at the recording studio for an undisclosed project.

Lanter and Eckstein have been known to be the voices behind several Star Wars animated properties of the franchise, ranging from Star Wars: Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, to Star Wars video games such as Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Lightsaber Duels, Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars and Disney Infinity 3.0

Screenrant.com reports that the last time Lanter and Eckstein were together was for the Star Wars Rebels Season 2 finale, where “Darth Vader’s mask was cracked open during the Sith’s battle with his former padawan.” Vader and Ashoka were not present during season 3, but with their reunion posted on social media, it’s likely that the duo may return for season 4.

While Star Wars Rebels showrunner Dave Filoni hasn’t confirmed anything about these characters officially returning, Filoni has confirmed that Ashoka will return “one way or another”.
