Marvel Games and NetEase Games have revealed full details for Marvel Rivals Season 4.5: Heart of the Dragon, set to launch October 10.
The mid-season update adds Daredevil as a new playable hero and rolls out major updates including cross-progression testing, new modes, team-up abilities, and a special Halloween event.
Daredevil Joins the Fight
Daredevil enters the game as a Duelist, bringing his radar sense and martial arts skills into battle. His billy clubs allow for rapid close-range attacks, and his Ultimate Ability unleashes The Beast, striking fear into enemies.
Players subscribed to Disney+ can also claim an exclusive Daredevil costume from October 10 through January 8, 2026.
Cross-Progression and Team-Up Updates
One of the most requested features is finally on the way. Season 4.5 begins cross-platform progression testing, with a full rollout planned for Season 5.0.
For now, leaderboards remain separate by platform, but stats and career progress will carry across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
New team-up abilities include Bestial Hunt (Daredevil + The Punisher) and Deep Wrath (Hela + Namor), while other combos like Ragnarok Rebirth are being removed.
Special Events and New Modes in Marvel Rivals Season 4.5
Players can also look forward to a Halloween event with themed costumes, plus the reveal of a new game mode at the Thailand Game Show on October 17.
