Production for the new Captain Marvel film officially began last month and fans are excited as the time draws closer to see fan favorite Carol Danvers grace the big screen in her own live action adventure.

As production began, Marvel Studios posted a press release confirming the details but also revealing some new casting information that would see popular characters return to the silver screen. One of them being Ronan The Accuser who was so effortlessly portrayed by actor Lee Pace in Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.1!

Speaking on NBC’s New York Live, Pace briefly expressed his excitement to reprise his role as the blue-skinned villain:

“I’m excited to be back!”

As always, interviewers tried to fish for information about the film but Pace gave nothing:

“I know nothing, I don’t know anything. I wish I could tell you all the secrets but I don’t know any secrets.”

The film will also see actors Djimon Honsou and Clark Gregg reprise their roles as Korath The Pursuer and Agent Phil Coulson. Captain Marvel will be set in the 90s and will follow Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the Universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races: the Kree and The Skrulls. Are you excited to see Lee Pace reprise his role? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
