The photo contains already confirmed cast members Coby Bell, Amy Acker, Jamie Chung, Emma Dumont, Stephen Moyer, Blair Redford, Sean Teale and Natalie Alyn Lind.

We also got a glimpse of potential new addition to the cast, Joseph Morgan (The Originals) sitting amongst all the other cast members of Fox’s new show.

[Update: According to Entertainment Weekly, Morgan has not been cast in the series and was filling in for someone else during the table read]

The show will centre on parents played by Acker and Moyer as they discover their children exhibit exceptional powers. The family is forced on the run from the government after their children’s abilities are discovered and they meet a group of underground mutants who are also in hiding, trying to survive.

Show creator, Matt Nix thinks people will be excited about the character surprises the show has in store. In an interview with CNET he said:

“Suffice it to say it’s a show that contains some characters that fans will be excited about,” he said. “I can’t talk about specifics, but it’s not like there are no X-Men in it.”

A release date for the series is yet to be revealed.
