With Wonder Woman still slaying at the box office, it’s a no brainer for the franchise to be a big topic at Warner Bros.’s SDCC panel! Wonder Woman director, Patty Jenkins, still hasn’t officially confirmed her signing on to the sequel. However, we now have confirmation that DCEU producer and writer, Geoff Johns, has started working on the Wonder Woman 2script!
In an interview with Yahoo Movies, Geoff Johns gave a quick statement regarding the movie. When asked about an update on the movie, Johns said:
“I’m working right now on the Wonder Woman 2 script, I just started.”
Apparently Johns has huddled with Patty Jenkins to “hash out some story points” but gave no other details on the follow-up film except that Gal Gadot will be reprising her role as the titular character.
No word on a release date yet for Wonder Woman sequel but stay tuned for more #SDCC17 news!
