Ahead of the confirmation of Disney’s acquisition of Fox, one of the most persistent questions was how it would affect the R-rated Deadpool.

On a media call following news of the deal, Disney CEO Bob Iger said he didn’t see any issues with continuing an R-rated brand of Marvel.

“It [Deadpool] clearly has been and will be Marvel branded. But we think there might be an opportunity for a Marvel-R brand for something like Deadpool,” said Iger. “As long as we let the audiences know what’s coming, we think we can manage that fine.”

Star Ryan Reynolds has had a lot of fun on Twitter with posts teasing how Wade would fit into the family friendly Disney.
