The First Deadpool movie introduced to Negasonic Teenage Warhead (badass name) and the new version of Colossus. Both Characters immediately became fan favorites and everybody, including myself, wanted them to be in the sequel. Well, today we have official confirmation that they will pop up in Deadpool 2.
In an extended interview with Collider, writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick confirmed that Negasonic and Colossus will be returning for the sequel:
PAUL WERNICK: I can’t say how much they are…
RHETT REESE: I think we can say. Yeah, they’ll be in the sequel.
WERNICK: Yeah, they’ll make at least an appearance.
We still don’t know how big of a role the two characters will play in the sequel, but I hope they get a decent amount of screen time while not taking away from Domino and Cable. The chemistry between Deadpool, Negasonic, and Colossus was part of the reason the movie was so great.
