The first two episodes of Daredevil: Born Again are now streaming on Disney+!
Lead actors Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio, who portray Matt Murdock/Daredevil and Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, respectively, are back in action in the series after appearing in other Marvel Television shows like She-Hulk: Attorney At Law and Echo.
The pair discussed the emotional moments they had to portray within the series’ first two episodes alongside their co-stars, Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) and Ayelet Zurer (Vanessa Fisk), and anything they’ve learned during the time they’ve spent playing their characters.

Perfect timing for Women’s History Month, D’Onofrio and Cox spoke about how the women they work alongside have
“So, with Ayelet, first of all, she’s an amazing actress. Like, she’s just flawless in her work, and to be with her on set is just amazing. So the thing is, you know, like Charlie, I’ve known her for a long time, and we’ve become friends, and not like Hollywood friends, like friends, friends, you know? And so we love working together. I trust her so much. I trust her choices and her honesty, and we talk about the scenes a lot. All I have to do with Ayelet, is receive and then react. There’s no technique required,” D’Onofrio shared.
Cox added, “Yeah, it’s just lucky we are to have these women. So Margarita [Levieva] too. She’s another incredible actress, and I don’t know, we’re just lucky as heck to have them as as teammates, and their performances are just, I mean, Deborah is amazing, yes, Margarita. I mean, it’s crazy, really. They’re we’re really blessed to have them. Nikki James as well in this season is phenomenal.”

Cox and D’Onofrio have played these characters for several years now, and as such, the two shared what they’ve learned after playing the characters for all this time.
“I mean, I don’t know if this is exciting to hear or anything, but one of the things that I always am amazed about is the stamina that that we need to be able to do this show. I always get inspired by the others, but mostly by Charlie. His worth ethic is amazing, but his talent is, I think, amazing and quite wonderful. And so, I’m inspired to do that kind of work. And, you know, I forget that I actually am able to be resilient and to have the kind of stamina it takes to to do this hard stuff. But it’s only through the inspiration of this guy here that I can actually get to that point,” D’Onofrio revealed.
“This is so nice. I mean, it’s just like, I’m this being said from one of the goats. You know what? I mean? Like, um, you know, I’m so honoured to get to share the screen with this man. So a bit of a love fest going on here,” Cox said.
