There’s been a lot of buzz around Hulu’s Runaways series. Now the comic’s creator Brian K. Vaughn has confirmed that a fan favorite character, Old Lace, is in the show.
During a book signing Vaughn told comicbook.com that the dinosaur is in the series and “they do her justice.”
Gert and the team find the dinosaur in her parent’s basement. Gert uses her telepathic link and the two become Arsenic and Old Lace.
Runaways is based on the popular Marvel comic and follows a group of teens who discover their parents are evil and then go on the run together.
Marvel’s Runaways premieres Tuesday, Nov. 21 on Hulu and stars Gregg Sulkin, Allegra Acosta, Ariela Barer, Rhenzy Feliz and Lyrica Okano as the Runaways, with Kevin Weisman, Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Ever Carradine, Brigid Brannagh, Brittany Ishibashi and James Marsters as the parents.
