Marvel’s Black Panther continues to dominate the box office after breaking $1 billion at the global box office! According to Variety, Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther is the 33rd movie to gross $1 billion. The movie is the 5th MCU entry to the list, joining the likes of Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Iron Man 3, & Captain America: Civil War.
Black Panther has pulled in a whopping $521 million domestically and is on track for beating out The Dark Knight as the second highest grossing superhero movie. With this much momentum, it’s no wonder why Black Panther contributed to February’s record-breaking box office.
