Azie Tesfai is set for a recurring role on season four of The CW’s Supergirl. Tesfai will be playing Kelly Olsen, sister of Mehcad Brooks’ James Olsen.

Kelly Olsen is an intelligent and insightful woman who spent time in the military in order to pay for medical school. She’s recently discharged from the military and is currently finishing her training as a psychiatrist. She’s got a large heart and cares deeply about others.

It was also confirmed that iconic DC supervillain Lex Luthor will be making his debut in season four. Who the power-hungry business magnate will be portrayed by hasn’t been revealed yet. Katie McGrath has been playing Lex’s sister, Lena Luthor, on the series since season two.

Tesfai played police detective Nadine Hanson on the first two seasons of the CW’s Jane The Virgin. Her recent TV credits include guest roles on NCIS: Los Angeles, The Real O’Neals, Rosewood, Superstore and a recurring role on Powers. She’ll next be seen in Netflix’s upcoming comedy series The Kominsky Method.

Kara has had to brace new threats to National City, including villains Morgan Edge and Reign, a Kryptonian Worldkiller, played by Adrian Pasdar and Odette Annable respectively. Those challenges continue this season, with more to come.

Season four of Supergirl premiered this past Sunday on October 14. Who’s hyped for the new season? What else are you hoping to see? Let us know down below!
