With San Diego Comic Con now at a close and the buzz resounding the trailers and footage shown by Marvel Studios, it’s been confirmed that the untitled fourth Avengers film will commence shooting in two weeks.
In an interview at the convention, director Joe Russo told Comicbook.com that although both the movies are big ones, they will be very different. Russo said, “It’s important for both movies to be distinctly different. It’s important for them to have different tones, and different narratives, and different surprises for the audience. We’ve worked really hard with [writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeeley] at ensuring that the films are tonally different and structurally different.”
Russo also went on to talk about the hectic filming schedule for the movie and said, “It’s crazy man, we just wrapped the first movie a week ago and I start shooting the second one in two weeks. It’s a crazy schedule.”
The trailer for the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War was shown to lucky audiences at both the D23 Expo and SDCC. However, there is no date as to when Marvel Studios will drop the trailer online for the public. Here’s hoping we won’t have to wait too long.
