Atomic Blonde is an upcoming neo-noir spy action thriller from John Wick co-directors, David Leitch and Chad Stahelski. The story takes place in 1989 Berlin, on the eve of the collapse of the Berlin Wall. Lorraine Broughton (Charlize Theron), a MI6 spy, is sent to Berlin to take on a espionage ring that has targeted an undercover agent for unknown reasons. Forced to the edge Broughton must rely on her killer skills to navigate a deadly game of spy vs spy. She will do anything to stay alive and complete her mission.
Atomic Blonde also stars Sofia Boutella, James McAvoy, John Goodman, and Toby Jones.
It will debut at the SXSW Film Festival on March 12. Theatrical release is July 28th.
