Supergirl’s third season is presently on hiatus, but filming remains underway and the show has recently added someone new to its cast. According to Supergirl.tv (via Bleeding Cool), Hell on Wheels alum Angela Zhou will feature in the back half of this season as a character named Dr. Grace Parker.
At this juncture, character details are scarce. However, it is know that Dr. Parker is a “renowned surgeon” in National City. While the reason she’ll garner spotlight isn’t readily apparent, it’s possible the surgeon will be revealed as another Worldkiller. An alternative likelihood could have her as a doctor Sam visits for treatment of some kind. In truth, Dr. Parker very well could be both a Worldkiller and the surgeon Sam is referred to, which may add another interesting dynamic to the show.
If Supergirl aims to follow the comics, there are at least three more Worldkillers in the wild. With Reign and Purity as known entities, Perrilus, Deimax, and Flower of Heaven are the others that remain undiscovered.
