Inspired by the Nancy Myers romantic-comedy, What Women Want that was released back in 2000, the upcoming What Men Want has now found its director, Adam Shankman.
Shankman will direct Academy Award nominated actress, Taraji P. Henson in the lead role and will also serve as the film’s executive producer.
Shankman’s past directing credits include: The Wedding Planner, A Walk to Remember, Bringing Down the House and Hairspray.
Henson is set to portray a sports agent who is constantly being pushed out by her male colleagues before she gets the gift to hear their thoughts and uses it to her advantage to in an attempt to sign the next NBA hotshot.
Girls Trip producer, Will Packer and James Lopez are set to produce the Paramount film.
