The 74th annual Golden Globes took place tonight and it was full of many surprises. La La Land was the biggest winner of the night, winning awards in all seven categories it was nominated in and setting a new record for the most Golden Globes won by a film in a year. FX’s hit show ‘Atlanta’ also won for Best Television Series, Musical or Comedy and Best Actor in a Television Series, Musical or Comedy for its creator, and star Donald Glover. Tracee Ellis Ross won for best actress in a comedy series, making her the first black woman to win since Debbie Allen in 1983.
