About 24 hours ago (as of the time of this writing), Marvel Entertainment sent out a tweet, teasing an announcement that they planned to reveal the following morning at 7pm PST. Well, that was less than an hour ago, and Marvel shared a short video on their twitter page, teasing what looks like a new video game.

They neglected to reveal a name for this project, but it’s current tagline looks like it will be “#Reassmble,” and it’s going to be centered around The Avengers. Whatsmore, Marvel Entertainment has teamed up with game developers Square Enix, Crystal Dynamics, and Edios Montreal (the companies responsible for successful franchises such as Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and Tomb Raider). The video was a few seconds shy of a minute, and it didn’t really tell us much, other than the team is obviously going to face a serious challenge. While people didn’t really expect this news from Marvel to be about a video game, it’s exciting to see what will come of this partnership.
