The multiplayer survival game Dead by Daylight has been adding iconic horror villains to its playable lineup of killers. Dead by Daylight developers Behaviour Interactive have announced that Freddy Krueger will be joining the game, along with Michal Myers and Leatherface. If the incorporation of Michael Myers is any indication, the game may also be incorporating music from the Nightmare on Elm Street films as well.
Behaviour Interactive released a teaser titled “Don’t Fall Asleep”, with the Dead by Daylight logo being etched into a metal bar.

Details about how he’ll be implemented into the game are yet to be announced, but it would be interesting to see sleeping incorporated into the core gameplay. For now, we may have to wait until Halloween to figure out what the Dead by Daylight has planned for the iconic dream demon.
With Jason already implemented in Friday the 13th: The Game, it’s unlikely that he’ll be the next horror killer to appear in Dead by Daylight, so who else would you like to see? Let us know in the comments!
