Check out the full interviews with the cast and creators below:

“Sophie has this incredible gift of just going,” Duff said about her character. “She doesn’t really pre-think about too many things. She delivers herself there and then sorts it out later.” the actress continued. Similar to Ted Mosby (Josh Radnor), the protagonist of How I Met Your Mother, Sophie still has a lot to learn when it comes to figuring out what she wants and how to chase it.

When asked about the vulnerability of Valentina despite her confident attitude, Francia Raisa had a response that proved how much she loves the character she portrays. Raisa shared, “Growing up, I think she stood out from her family. She didn’t necessarily follow the norm her family wanted her to follow. And usually, when you do that, especially being Mexican, we kind of feel like the black sheep a little bit. But she followed her own heart, and I think she’s been leading with her heart. throughout her journey growing up.”

Series co-creator Elizabeth Berger had very nice things to say when asked about how she felt regarding the fan response to the first season of the show. Berger said, “We feel great about it! It’s exactly what you would hope for! We knew we were taking the continuation of something people had very strong feelings for and a lot of passion for. That is always a little nerve-racking because you’re thinking,’I hope they like what we did too!'”
