Happy December! The year is almost over but it feels like it started just yesterday. With the holiday season barreling to its natural conclusion, Netflix has given us plenty of gifts to enjoy with their slate of Christmas films, like Christmas With You starring Lucifer‘s Aimee Garcia and the iconic Freddie Prinze Jr., and Lindsay Lohan’s comeback vehicle Falling For Christmas. But that was just Novembers gifts, December is a whole lot of bigger! Let’s get the BIGGEST gift out of the way, The Witcher: Blood Origin starring Michelle Yeoh and Sophia Brown. The Witcher fans, we are so close to the highly anticipated third season, but Blood Origin will bring us back in to the Continent.

After her explosive performance in The Woman King, Lashana Lynch switches gears and turns to the musical life with Roald Dahl’s Matilda. Rian Johnson’s collaboration with Netflix is bringing us Glass Onion, the first of two sequels to Knives Out. Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s , Bardo, False Chronicles of a Handful of Truths, his first film shot in Mexico since Amores perros is heading to Netflix after a brief stint in theatres. And for those who are looking for a cute coming-of-age story, check out The Most Beautiful Flower (La flor más bella).

On the animation front, there are plently more gifts to unwrap! Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio is finally coming to the platform after its theatrical run, Dragon Age: Absolution, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean and Sonic Prime are also heading to Netflix this month, and are only a few of the animated gems to look out for.
