Interview: ‘Wendell & Wild’ Actor James Hong On The New Netflix Stop-Motion Animated Film
Legendary actor James Hong has hundreds of screen credits since his career which started back in the ’50s. This year we’ve seen him in some of the best films which include the acclaimed film Everything Everywhere All at Once and Pixar’s Turning Red. And now he’s apart of Netflix’s latest film, Wendell & Wild, in which he voices Father Bests, a figure who hopes to keep his boarding school for troubled teens open, even though a greedy corporation to buy him out.
We caught up with Hong to talk about the new film and what drew him to the project. We also talked about what his Halloween traditions are with his family and if he dresses up. Lastly, Because he voiced a few characters in the animated Avatar: The Airbender show, he spoke about his interest in reprising his role in the live action version being created for Netflix.

The official synopsis for Wendell & Wild
The two devious demon brothers Wendell and Wild have to face their arch-enemy with the help of the nun Sister Helly, who is notorious for expelling demons. However, the brothers are not only plagued by her, but also by her altar boys.
