Uncharted is joining the ranks of video games receiving movie renditions. Fans of the video games series get to see Nathan Drake (played by Tom Holland) on the silver screen in all of his treasure hunter glory. Mark Wahlberg, Sofia Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas come along for the adventure, in a charismatic explorer film that’s sure to entertain video game fans and new audiences alike.

To help us navigate the new film, Geeks of Color spoke with Antonio Banderas, who plays the antagonist, Santiago Moncada. The critically-acclaimed actor, producer, and director has performed in numerous films including, The Mask of Zorro, Interview with a Vampire, The Skin I Live In, Pain and Glory, the Spy Kids franchise, and the Shrek franchise – just to name a few. With a myriad of awards and work that traverses film, TV and theatre, Banderas’ career has carved out his legacy as one of the most accomplished actors. 

Now, in his new role in Uncharted, Banderas spoke to Geeks of Color on what it was like to take on the role of Santiago Moncada and what fans can expect from Uncharted.
