Interview: Fra Fee Discusses How Marvel’s ‘Hawkeye’ Hits The Mark
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is back at it again with its new TV show, Hawkeye. The titular character (Jeremy Renner) and his protege, Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), are front and center as holiday heroes taking on the Tracksuit Mafia in New York City.
And while the Tracksuit mafia focuses on Marvel’s famed archers, Geeks of Color set their sights on actor Fra Fee who plays Kazi – Tracksuit Mafia member and right-hand man to leader Maya Lopez/Echo (Alaqua Cox). Fee spoke with GoC to discuss working with the cast of Hawkeye, how his background in theatre prepared him for his role, and what it’s like to be a part of the MCU.

Hawkeye Synopsis
“Disney+ and Marvel Studios invite you on an unexpected holiday getaway with Hawkeye, a new series set in post-blip New York City. Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.”
