‘The Croods: A New Age’ Is Packed With Exceptional Extras For The Entire Family

The Croods: A New Age is now available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD!

The first prehistoric family is ready for another rocking adventure! The Croods have survived fanged beasts, natural disasters, and even young love, but now they must face their biggest challenge yet: another family! In search of a new home, the Croods discover a walled-in paradise created by the sophisticated Betterman family (emphasis on the “better”). As they try to coexist, the differences between the two families escalate into a full-blown feud, but when a new threat forces both families to embark on an epic adventure, they must all learn to work together…or they’ll all go extinct!

The follow-up to the 2013 animated flick, The Croods (which also spawned the animated series Dawn of the Croods, streaming on Netflix), is an exciting adventure for the entire family and is made even better with the plethora of extra features found on the physical copies of the film.

Just as fun as the film itself, the special features included on the physical release of The Croods: A New Age are something the entire family will enjoy. There is truly something for everyone in the family to enjoy. Although all of the special features are certainly fun for everyone, my personal favourites were: Stone Age Snack Attack, How to Draw: Caveman Style and Dear Diary: World’s First Pranks.

Stone Age Snack Attack is something that is fun for the entire family and great for any kids who want to help their parents in the kitchen, or just get into the groove of learning how to cook. In addition it’s a great way for families to spend time together pre-meals. How to Draw: Caveman Style is a great look into what it takes to create the characters of The Croods and also good insight for any budding artists who want to learn how to draw their favourite characters, or get into animation by learning from one of the animators first-hand. Lastly, the short film Dear Diary: World’s First Pranks, is a fun short with both the old and new families of The Croods. The animation is super cute and reminiscent of the Dawn of the Croods animated series. It’s funny and likely to be loved by kids and adults alike.

All-in-all, The Croods: A New Age has exceptionally fun features for all of the family and is most definitely a must-buy if you’re a fan of the film franchise or if you’re looking for a lovable new adventure for your fam.
