Interview: Jac Schaeffer Talks Creating ‘WandaVision’, The Intense Blip Scene, Monica Rambeau & More
Wandavision, the official introduction into Phase 4, has been keeping Marvel fans at the edge of their seats these last few weeks. With five more episodes to come, there are more twists and turns fans can expect. If you haven’t watched episode four yet, please do before continuing with this article.
After watching episode four, I had the chance to sit down (virtually) with showrunner Jac Schaeffer. During our conversation, we talked about the pressures of kicking off Phase 4, Monica Rambeau’s reintroduction into the MCU and showing the serious effects of the blip. Since the show has been paying homage to classic sitcoms, I asked about the possibility of a Parks & Rec Easter egg (since Kathryn Hahn, Paul Rudd and Chris Pratt were part of the cast). Lastly, we talked about how things will continue to escalate as the series progresses.
