Season 3 of Cobra Kai is now streaming on Netflix!
If you haven’t watched the show yet, please do. It is incredible! In honor of the new season now streaming, I had the chance to sit down with Xolo Maridueña and Vanessa Rubio who play Miguel and Carmen Diaz, respectively.
During our conversation, Maridueña spoke about his reaction to the show finding new fans now being on Netflix. Maridueña then spoke about what it was like having Miguel’s arc this season and recovering from the season 2 accident. Rubio spoke about what it was like having to pull from a vulnerable state for all the emotional scenes she had this season. She also teased her hopes for what she hopes to see in season 4 of the series.

Cobra Kai Season 3 Synopsis

30 years after the events of the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, Daniel LaRusso, Johnny Lawrence and the Cobra Kai gang are back for a third season.
Earlier this year, Cobra Kai migrated from its original home YouTube Red to Netflix, which was probably the best move for the show. Immediately after the switch, the show got a resurgence of new fans, young and old. It stayed on the “Top 10” trending page on Netflix for weeks if not months. Season 3 was originally scheduled to debut January 7 but the good folks at Netflix decided to push it up to New Year’s Day, giving fans a special treat to welcome them into the New Year.
