Interview: Dominique Fishback and Joseph Gordon-Levitt Talk ‘Project Power’, Working With Jamie Foxx & More
Project Power hits Netflix tomorrow!
In honor of the movie hitting the streaming service, I had a chance to sit down with two of the film’s stars, Dominique Fishback and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
During my chat with the pair, Fishback spoke about going from previous projects like Night Comes On and The Hate U Give to doing an action film. The two spoke about working with Jamie Foxx and what he was like on set. Gordon-Levitt told me about what attracted him to the project and why he decided to come back after being on a hiatus. I also asked the pair what powers they would like to have if they took the pill in real life.
To wrap up the interview, I briefly spoke to Gordon-Levitt about The Dark Knight Rises and looking back at the film after eight years!
Check out the interview below:
Official Synopsis
On the streets of New Orleans, word begins to spread about a mysterious new pill that unlocks superpowers unique to each user. The catch: You don’t know what will happen until you take it. While some develop bulletproof skin, invisibility, and super strength, others exhibit a deadlier reaction. But when the pill escalates crime within the city to dangerous levels, a local cop (Gordon-Levitt) teams with a teenage dealer (Fishback) and a former soldier fueled by a secret vendetta (Foxx) to fight power with power and risk taking the pill in order to track down and stop the group responsible for creating it.
