Watch The Trailer For RE:Anime’s ‘One Punch Man’ Fan Film

Calling all Anime fans! The team over at RE:Anime has released the trailer for their live action One-Punch Man fan film!

If you’re new to anime, One-Punch Man is a Japanese superhero franchise created by the artist ONE. It is about the story of Saitama, a superhero who can defeat any opponent with a single punch. As Saitama grows bored by the lack of challenges presented by his enemies,  he strives to find a worthy opponent.

Hollywood continues to create more and more live-action anime content, but seem to have a hard time staying truthful to the messages and themes of the original sources. This is why films like Avatar: The Last Airbender, Dragon Ball Z and Death Note turned out to be disappointments for many fans.

It was recently announced that the One Punch Man manga is being brought to the big screen from Scott Rosenberg and Jeff Pinkner, the writers behind 2018’s Venom. Sony is hoping to make it one of their next big franchises. Perhaps it would be in Sony’s best interest to reach out to RE:Anime for help to make sure they are doing justice to the manga!
