Interview: Loren Bouchard and Josh Gad Talk Apple TV’s ‘Central Park’ & Crossover Potential With ‘Bob’s Burgers’
With Apple TV’s hit new animated comedy Central Park debuting this week, I had a chance to sit down with Emmy Award-winner Loren Bouchard and Grammy Award-winner Josh Gad who created the show alongside Emmy Award-winner Nora Smith.
Central Park follows the Tillermans, a family that lives in Central Park. Owen, the park manager, and Paige, his journalist wife, raise their kids Molly and Cole in the world’s most famous park while fending off hotel heiress Bitsy Brandenham and her long-suffering assistant Helen, who would love nothing more than to turn the park into condos.

The voice cast for the series is incredibly stacked. The cast includes Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn, Tituss Burgess, Daveed Diggs and Stanley Tucci. You can watch our interview with Diggs and Tucci right here!
During my interview with Bouchard and Gad, the pair spoke about how the idea came about and putting the cast together. The two also spoke about finding the right balance between the dialogue and musical elements. Bouchard also talked about the potential of doing a crossover with his other show, Bob’s Burgers.
