Rumor: A Series About Super Genius ‘Ironheart’ Potentially in the Works For Disney+
In late 2019, MCU Cosmic reported that Marvel was in early developments on a potential Ironheart series. Now, The Cinema Spot is reporting that they have exclusively learned that said Ironheart series is in active development for Disney+, with a targeted shooting date in 2021.

As the COVID-19 pandemic has stalled many productions and delayed several releases, this 2021 date is tentative at best.
Genius Riri Williams, inspired by Tony Stark, decides to build her own suit of incredible armor to fight for the good of humanity. This super smart gal works hard and brings a lot of humanity to her role as the Super Hero Ironheart.

MCU Direct’s reporting noted a unproduced script for Ironheart on the Blacklist, and The Cinema Spot’s source(s) say Marvel was taking pitches, but have yet to officially attach a showrunner.
As is the case with all Marvel projects, nothing is official until they announce it. Any and all developments regarding Ironheart are unverified speculation until confirmed by Marvel.
Marvel currently has a number of shows in several stages of development slated for Disney+ including: The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, Hawkeye, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Moon Knight.
