There is a plethora of content on Disney+ and some of its best comes in the form of the various nature documentaries that can be found on the streaming service.

Now, while we are practicing social distancing and self-quarantining, why not check out some of the best Disneynature documentaries that are currently available to watch. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

Elephant

Elephant follows the story of an elephant herd on their long migration to find sources of food and water during the dry season. The trek is treacherous and filled with various predators, but the herd sticks together in order to beat the odds and make it to their end destination.

Born in China

Born in China follows the lives of three different species: the panda, the snow leopard and the golden snub-nosed monkey. Viewers will have the chance to watch these animals in their natural habitat and the odds they all have to face in order to survive.

Oceans

Oceans is one of Disneynature’s first films. Just as the title says, this documentary is all about the ocean and the life within it. From the largest whale, to the smallest krill, Oceans is an in-depth experience of one of the world’s largest ecosystems.

African Cats

Following a pride of lions and a family of cheetahs, African Cats strives to show what life on the Savannah is truly like. There is fun to be had, but there is also danger to be wary of and these young cubs learn how to navigate it all as they grow.

Penguins

In icy Antarctica an Adelie penguin named Steve does all he can to try to impress a mate in Penguins. When he finally finds his mate Adeline, Steve embarks on his next journey: fatherhood.
