Meagan Good Joins Cast of Live-Action ‘Monster Hunter’ Movie

Filming for the upcoming film Monster Hunter has officially begun in South Africa and Namibia, and it’s been announced that Meagan Good will join previously cast Milla Jovovich.

The film will be based on the popular Capcom franchise of the same name where the player or “Hunter” slays and traps various large monsters across different landscapes as challenges on quests that are given from area locals.

The film is expected to take place in a world of separate from ours where monsters roam the planet. Soldiers, lead under the leadership of Lt. Artemis (Jovovich), are sent from our world to the new one and they must fight to survive while teaming up with a stranger with a plan on how to fight back.

The film is being produced by Constantin’s Robert Kulzer and Martin Moszkowicz, along with Jeremy Bolt (Resident Evil) and Paul W.S. Anderson from Impact Pictures. Dennis Berardi, the head of VFX for the movie, will also act as a producer.

Also starring in the film will be Tony Jaa, Diego Boneta, Ron Perlman, and Tip ‘T.I.’ Harris.
