Kevin Hart Signs First-Look Deal With Nickelodeon
Kevin Hart and his HartBeat Productions banner have signed a first-look deal with Nickelodeon. Under the deal, Hart will develop and produce live-action, scripted kids’ content for the network.
In a statement, Hart said, “For me, Nick has always represented everything fun about being a kid, and it’s still at the forefront today of kids’ and family entertainment. I’ve been slimed at Kids’ Choice, won a lot of Orange Blimps and my kids are my very own built-in focus group, so I’m ready to dive in and make some next-level shows with Brian and everyone at Nickelodeon.”.
Hart won the Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite Funny Star in 2014. In 2017, he won Favorite Villain and Most Wanted Pet for The Secret Life of Pets and Favorite BFFs along with Central Intelligence co-star Dwayne Johnson
Hart most recently starred in the film Night School alongside Tiffany Haddish, which opened at number one at the box office when it debuted and marked the biggest comedy opening weekend of 2018. Hart will also be starring in sequels to Secret Life of Pets, Jumanji, and Ride Along.
