The goal is start production in either late 2019 or early 2020. Marvel hasn’t made any announcements about their film slate beyond Captain Marvel in March 2019, Avengers 4 in May, and Spider-Man: Far From Home in July. Marvel is also developing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Eternals, and a Black Widow solo film.
Coogler is developing the drama Wrong Answer with frequent collaborator Michael B. Jordan. He is also executive producing Space Jam 2 starring LeBron James, as well as executive producing the upcoming Creed 2.
