‘Star Wars’ VR Series ‘Vader Immortal’ Arriving in 2019
That’s right, Star Wars fans. This time next year, you will finally be able to explore the galaxy like you’ve been dreaming about doing for decades. During a panel at OC5, a lucky audience got a sneak peak of the upcoming collaboration between LucasFilms, Oculus, and ILMxLAB.
There will be three episodes of Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series and according to ILMxLAB’s Executive in Charge Vicki Dobbs, the game will truly allow for fans to: “Step Inside Our Stories and Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series represents a significant step forward in that ongoing quest”.
Most of the games’ details are currently being kept secret, we do know that the game will draw from the award-winning location-based experience Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire, and that fans will be able to journey through connected experiences in places like The VOID with the moveable freedom that comes with the realm of virtual reality.
