Fresh off his breakout role as M’Baku in Marvel’s Black Panther, Winston Duke is set to star in action/thriller, Heroine.

Heroine centers around a mother and domestic abuse survivor who moves to a new neighborhood in hopes for a fresh start. However, that hope quickly dies as she finds herself into trouble when she witnesses a kidnapping by an Aryan gang.

Duke will play the mother’s neighbor, “a tragic figure who turns out to be much more than she expected.”

Set by a deal with Paramount Players, Daniel Casey (Kin) wrote the groundwork and is also set to direct the film.

In addition to Heroine, Duke is also set to star in the upcoming Jordan Peele film, Us and will also portray MMA fighting legend, Kimbo Slice in a film titled, Backyard Legend.
