Hulu subscribers often feel like they get the short end of the stick of available content. That is starting to change for the streaming service is about to kick into full gear next month. October is everyone’s favorite time to get spooky and Hulu is keeping this in mind when considering what to deliver next. Many streaming services feature a library of constant revolving content. Hulu is no different, but fortunately, this October subscribers will be greeted with a plethora of new titles both old and new. Of course, some content will have to leave at the end of the month- but in this situation the good news outweighs the bad. Subscribers of the streaming service should take the chance to watch great horror films such as Child’s Play, No Vacancy, and the latin Rec series. Great psychological thrillers such as American Psycho and Mulholland Drive will also be available to stream.

Subscribers will also be treated to two new exclusive shows. If one liked the previous horror exclusive Castle Rock, then they are in for a treat. The first comes from Blumhouse, the creators behind hit horror franchises such as The Purge and Paranormal Activity. Into the Dark is a 12 part horror anthology series that will focus on different holidays of the year. Each part will be as long as a feature and the first episode titled The Body releases on October 5. It tells the story of a hitman that needs to deliver a corpse on Halloween night.

The second exclusive show titled Light as a Feather debuts on October 12. The show will focus on a group of girls that are haunted by an innocent game of “Light as a Feather, Stiff as a Board”. Seems like this show could draw in a huge crowd. One should be reminded that these two programs are the last two Hulu exclusives until the second season of Marvel’s Runaways in December. Now is the time to sadly say goodbye to expiring content. The good news is, unlike other streaming services, Hulu dumps all expiring content at the end of the month. This means that there is still plenty of time to watch any shows or television from the following list.

Staying with the theme of Halloween, if one has not seen 28 Weeks Later or Signs then they should jump on that pronto. Jackie Brown and There Will Be Blood are also recommended watches.
