Everything Coming and Leaving Netflix October 2018

September is coming to an end and everyone knows what that means. Netflix subscribers have gotten really good at adapting to the streaming service’s ever-rotating library of content. When a new month in the year rolls around, viewers prepare themselves for the gamble of gaining new great content, losing old favored content, and many times both. October is right around the corner and it is fitting that the spooky month will cast a dark shadow over many subscriber’s watch-lists.  Sadly, the amount of material leaving outweighs the new arrivals in the numbers this coming month. However, the goal here is to be positive because Netflix does often treat viewers with great exclusives such as Marvel’s Daredevil. First, here is the list of all new films and television with their individual arrival dates.

Many North American readers will recognize Operation Finale as the Oscar Isaac led Nazi drama that recently hit theaters. This is indeed the same film, but UK Netflix subscribers will get the film exclusively on the service starting October 3. The film got some love in its theater distribution with praise for Oscar Isaac’s leading performance, so UK readers should definitely keep an eye out. The fan-favored Netflix Original animated series, Castlevania, is also debuting its second season just in time for Halloween. Apostle, a new Netflix original thriller led by Dan Stevens also debuts in time for viewers to get their spook on. Many who have already seen it praise it as one of the wildest films the streaming service has ever released. The creators behind Riverdale are also bringing a new twisted interpretation of Sabrina the Teenage Witch. This new dark Netflix original teases lots of fun and potential. Viewers do not also need to be reminded of the new season of Daredevil, it is going to be huge.

Now comes the time to say goodbye to what were many great additions to the service. The amount of great content leaving is almost too much to bear, but there still might be time to squeeze in one final/first watch for those who have had it in their plans.
