Mewtwo to Take Place of Legendary Birds in Pokemon Go For Limited Time
For all of you active players of Pokemon Go here’s some awesome news!
Currently, the game is hosting The Ultra Bonus Event where a ton of Gen I Pokemon are making an appearance. Three Legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres were available to be captured through raids, but unfortunately only for a few days. Don’t fret if you missed your chance, however.
When Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres leave the game, taking their place will be Mewtwo starting at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET on September 20th and unlike before where you had to be invited, Mewtwo will be available to be caught in regular Raid Battles until October 23rd.
You can now also hatch Farfetch’d, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, and Tauros from 7 km Eggs, but they are only available in very specific regions.
The next Pokemon Go event will take place on Saturday, September 22nd with the release of the featured Pokemon Chikorita, one of the three starters from Pokemon Gold and Silver.
Were you able to catch any of the legendary birds before they left? Have you caught Mewtwo? Let us know in the comments below!
