Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is an exciting new step for Ubisoft’s long-running series for a few reasons. For starters, this marks the first time a female assassin will be playable in one of the mainline games from start to finish. Interestingly, players will have a say in whether this is the case, which counts as another of the major changes.
Choosing an assassin to play as, either Alexios or Kassandra, in the Greek setting only scratches the surface of this incredibly ambitious makeover. As far as the development team at Ubisoft Quebec is concerned, AC Odyssey warrants recognition as a full on RPG, a first for series.
