Conan O’Brien Teases Secret Project With Hideo Kojima
Conan O’Brien is arguably the best late-night show host around. He has yet to sell out to his executives and more importantly has not featured extremely problematic guests on his show (all eyes on Fallon). He has definitely won over many fans with his desire to produce content every year at San Deigo Comic-Con and across the world. His international specials titled “Conan in _” have been hits when it came to ratings and popularity. Conan has done specials in Italy, Korea, Mexico, Cuba, Haiti, Germany, and even Israel. The nature of these specials is to get into international shenanigans while also diving into diverse cultures. Conan found himself in Japan the past couple of days for his new special and many fans will be pleased with what he has in store.
Even though the special will not air on TBS until a later date- Conan is not holding back on teasing what he got to film. What is gathering the most hype and speculation is what he produced with Metal Gear and Death Stranding creator Hideo Kojima. Kojima holds a prestigious place in the gaming community for he is highly regarded as one of the best gaming auteurs of modern time. Conan and Kojima took to Twitter to tease what they possibly could have been up to during their time together.

It was good to meet Conan O'Brie again. He came to visit at Kojima Productions and was kind enough to sign on our kitchen wall. We have the same age👍🌈🦀🐟🐋 pic.twitter.com/5rlhcyf2iv

Those who have seen Conan’s international specials know how wild they can be. Whatever he cooked up with Kojima is sure to go viral after it airs on TBS. For now, fans can only guess what their secret surprise can be. The most absurd product can be Conan either in Death Stranding or a part of some promo for the game. Conan also has a popular segment titled “Clueless Gamer” in which he and one his producers play new popular games without much practice. Could they play an early demo of Death Stranding? The game is still in primitive stages of development, but hey if Guillermo Del Toro, Mads Mikkelson, Léa Seydoux, and Norman Reedus can have roles in the game then why not Conan?
Conan in Japan just wrapped filming and will soon debut on TBS. If you want to see more of the hijinks Conan got himself into you can check #ConanJapan on Twitter. What do you think their surprise is going to be? Let us know on our social media and stay tuned for the reveal!
